These
are some samples
of Pre-Raphaelite
art. My
favorite. I
love the attention
to detail.
I guess I'm just
an old romantic,
but I love this
stuff. You

Ophelia

Sir
John Everett
Millais painted
this picture of
Ophelia from
Shakespeare's
"Hamlet"
in 1852.
The
Bower Meadow

Dante
Gabriel Rossetti,
brother of
Christina Rossetti,
the poet, painted
this in 1872.
Lady of Shalott

Miranda

These
are two of Sir
John William
Waterhouse's best
(IMHO). The Lady
of Shallott was
completed in 1888.
Sir John did not
paint Miranda
until 1916.
